The students of the University of Ibadan this morning moved out in their hundreds ignoring lectures to protest the death of a student they claimed had an asthmatic attack overnight but was ignored by nurses at the school’s clinic because he does not have the clinic’s card as expected of him. The aggrieved students blocked the Mokola-Oojo road, which made a lot of motorists turn back. Some of them were heard saying the school’s health officials killed him.
