The President-Elect, Maj. Gen. Mohammadu Buhari(retd.), on Monday night, held a meeting with Ivorian President, Allassane Quattara, to discuss issues of mutual interest.
The meeting took place at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International, Airport, Abuja, on Monday(today).
The meeting, which was earlier scheduled to begin at 6pm, had to be delayed as both had yet to arrive at the venue at the scheduled time.
However, security personnel, members of the All Progressives Congress as well as journalists have besieged the venue.
While Buhari arrived at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, venue of the meeting at about 6.35, Quattara arrived shortly after.
Quattara, who arrived the venue of the meeting in company with Minister of State for Foreign Affairs II, Musliu Obanikoro, immediately went into a closed-door meeting with the President-Elect.
