The State of Osun Chapter of the All Progressive Congress has concluded plan to stage an endurance trek on Wednesday 7th of January 2015 with the vice presidential candidate of the APC, Professor Yemi Osinbajo in Osogbo the state capital.
The walk which will start from the Government House Oke-fia Osogbo will cut through Osogbo metropolis and terminate at the Osogbo Sport Stadium is aimed at gaining support for the APC presidential candidate General Muhammadu Buhari and his running mate Professor Yemi Osinbajo towards the on coming presidential election on the 14th February 2015.
In an interview with the chairman of the State of Osun chapter of the APC Prince Gboyega Famodun, I gathered that the State Government of Osun has before now organise WALK TO LIVE, a monthly exercise geared towards the enhancement of the health status of the people of the State. He said "This Walk for Change will not only rally Support for APC Presidential candidate but also serve as a means of bodily exercise".
The Walk for Change will have in attendance the APC vice presidential candidate Prof Yemi Osinbajo, state governor of osun Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, his deputy Mrs. Titi Laoye Tomori, state chairman of the party Prince Gboyega Famodun, all party excos and the People of Osun.
