Former Nigerian International goalkeeper, Wilfred Agbonavbare has lost his battle with cancer. The ex-Rayo Vallecano goalkeeper who had been receiving treatment at a Spanish hospital was said to have died on January 26th.
Agbonavbare played for New Nigeria Bank F.C. and BCC Lions FC. during his active days before moving to Spain in 1990 where he spent the rest of his career.
Sadly, Agbonavbare also lost his wife three years ago to cancer. May his soul rest in peace.
