12 SIGNS YOU NEED TO GET MARRIED

When a friend came over to my place the other day and exclaimed, “Dude, get married, you have a ‘bachelor fridge’” [I had various drinks and mixers in the fridge, but nothing edible in the house], I got thinking, “What are those funny but telling signs that say one needs to go get hitched."

Yes, it sometimes feels like marriage is overrated and all, [and it really shouldn't be for everybody too], there is no denying however that it's a beautiful thing when you find that special one, so if you find yourself exhibiting two or more of the signs below, you need to get hitched.

1. When your dad offhandedly asks after your ex-girlfriend from 10 years ago.

2. When you start heading home after work, remember there's no one at home, and divert your car to the bar.

3. When you start doing a mental tick-the-box of desirable qualities whenever you meet a new girl

4· When the difference in age between you and all your female 'companions' is inching towards a double digit number.

5· When your mum offhandedly remarks on how beautiful little babies look.

6· When you call John, Peter, Paul and even Lara to hang out after work and they all tell you, "sorry, am busy with the wifey/hubby tonight", so you end up hanging out with much younger friends.

7· When you have various types of Vodka, Martini's etc and bottles of Wine, Juice, Canned Drinks, Mixers & Ice in your fridge, but nothing to eat in the house.

...and you know it's getting really bad;

8· When your friends know your mental checklist of desirable qualities and start helping you tick-the-box with their female friends too

9· When the bachelor parties are increasingly few and far in-between, and the naming ceremonies are every other day.

10· When you know the prices of the different brands of baby food, and diapers in the stores.

11· When you have already decided what school to send your unborn child too, and know how much their school fees is.

12. But when your friends kid's 10th Birthday parties start, hmmm, it’s all over.
