Aminu Tambuwal Wins APC Gubernatorial Ticket In Sokoto

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Aminu Tambuwal has emerged the Sokoto APC gubernatorial candidate. He defeated four other contestants today in APC primaries held in the State with over 2000 votes, while Governor Umaru Tanko Al- Makura won in Nasarawa State. The Governor scored 1,630 votes out of 2,543 votes of delegates who participated to defeat two other candidates, Reuben Audu, and James Angbazo.
