The Nigerian government have approved the request of Goodluck Jonathan. The president asked for a loan of $1bn months ago to purchase military equipments as well as train military personnel to help combat Boko Haram.
The request to tackle terrorism has now been granted by the Nigerian senate. The N165bn will be added to the N968.127bn voted for defense as part of the annual budget
