Singing sensation Pia Mia is only 17 years old, but she’s about to make millions—and Kim Kardashian may be responsible!
According to a contract obtained by TMZ, the teen reportedly signed a multi-album deal that will earn her an estimated $1.3 million for her first album-and allegedly up to $9 million more if the label, Interscope, gives the go-ahead on three more.
The irony is Pia Mia first hit it big when Kim Kardashian posted a video of her singing at Kylie Jenner’s Sweet 16—though reports have since claimed Mrs. Kanye West is jealous ofthe attention. her husband has focused on the teenager.
“Kanye is producing some tracks for [Pia Mia] and. he’s quite involved,” a source in the rapper’s camp said in March. And while the source insisted Kanye maintained their relationship was all business, he also trusted her opinion when it came to his designs—as he wanted to hear what younger people thought of his looks.
“Kanye’s creative team was pretty shocked that he would use a teenager as his confidante,” the source said.
“And Kim was actually kind of agitated by it, because he doesn’t usually want her input on design stuff. She was a little jealous.”
Hey Kim—don’t sweat it. After all, Kanye’s love doesn’t pay the bills. Well, unless you’re Kim Kardashian.
