At least three people are dead after a helicopter crash in Ghana, Friday May 9, 2014 , an aviation official in Ghana confirmed.
A fourth person is presumed dead, but no body has been found, said Kwame Mamphey, director general of the Civil Aviation Authority, while four others survived the crash and are in the hospital.
“The helicopter was carrying five Ghanaians and three foreigners when it crashed into the sea” Kwame said. Officials said the helicopter was carrying people planning to work for the Russian oil company Lukoil to an offshore oil field.
