D-Soul also known as Davis has been influenced by big names in the music industry such as Timbaland, Ne-Yo, Akon, Michael Jackson, Luther Vandross, Case, Avant, Joe to name but a few. D-Soul has tailored his style of music to cut across all platforms and genres. Since recognizing his talent at the age of three, he was commissioned to do his first performance at the age of seven on national television in Nigeria. That performance captured the eyes of many and gave him recognition in his home town. He was born and raised in Nigeria.
He attended his primary and secondary school in the eastern part of the country (Ibo native) where he was born and attended Onabisi Onabanjo University to do his diploma in science after that he gained admission into University of Lagos where he only did his first year degree. D-soul moved to Uk after his first year to further his studies. He continued with a diploma in science with Irwin College in city of Leicester Uk. After his graduation from the college he gained admission to demontfort University but did not attend. Some years later he applied to University of East London to study Biomedical Science as a part time student. During the period of his absence from university, D-soul was recording his songs and writing too with every time that he had and the amazing thing is that he never went to a music school nor music class. D-soul joined a gospel choir to improve his music skills  and singing ability in no time his sweet and sensational voice got noticed and he began to solo for the group. D-Soul is a singer of diverse genres from Rnb to pop and even dance music. His talents range from song writing, singer, composer and co-producer and also Known as Master of All Trades by his friends. D-Soul is determined to break through into the UK and not forgetting worldwide scene with his style and charisma, from his humble beginnings back in his church choir and singing lead songs, to being chosen to perform before a number of dignitaries in his home-town, D-Soul is fast becoming a name to remember and look out for.

D-Soul has performed at various events and is still very much in demand. He has worked with a number of artists and producers such as Sneaka, Kayous, LJ, Nino, Flip Tyce, Kzeek, G-row (Japanese Producer), Courtz, Bankx, Impro, EldeeTheDon, Donaeo, Tinie Tempa, Jam Jam, Sneaka and former Big brother members (J-roc and Randy) and a few others. He has opened the satge for one of the most famous and talented artist in Nigeria known as Bracket (Yori Yori). He is said to be one of the best up coming UK/ Nigerian RnB artist for the future obviously known for his uniqueness and his swagger. D-Soul continues to perform all over from Leicester to London and other cities. Currently, D-Soul released his new single that has been talk of the moment titled " OMALICHA" ( prod by Flip tyce) and previously released a song titled "KILODE" ft EldeeTheDon.
