Kanye West Kicks Mariah Carey Out Of Label

He’s “Yeezus” for crying out loud and can afford to do whatever he thinks he can do and could get away with it….most times he has. So, because of that bold nature of his, Kanye West  is now in the black books of Grammy winner, Mariah Carey.

The relationship between Mariah and Island Def Jam Recordings has been on rocky grounds for a while now and from close sources, the singer had been hoping for a quick change. But that wasn’t coming! The last straw that broke the camel’s back, was the label’s rather strange reluctance to promote her single, “Beautiful” featuring Miguel as fast and wide like she wanted.

Instead, her song was sidelined for Kanye’s rushed up “Yeezus” album. Kanye possibly got more marketing interest than Mariah and that wasn’t what she signed for; especially now that she is still working on her up coming album titled, “The Art Of Letting Go” and wants it to be ‘perfect!’

This may probably be the singer’s last album with the label and where would that leave the singer’s relationship with the rapper? Did money exchange hands for “Yeezus” to come first, no matter what? So far, Mariah is pissed and is more than ready to call things off with Jam!
