Rapper Drake has dominated this year's BET Awards nominations with an astounding 12 nods -- five of them coming in just one category.

Drake has two entries in Coca-Cola Viewers Choice Award category and will go up against Lamar, 2 Chainz, A$AP Rocky and Future for the Best Male Hip Hop Artist award.
Nicki Minaj, Eve, Rasheeda, Rye Rye, and Azealia Banks will all vie for the Best Female Hip Hop Award; while Beyonce, Rihanna, Alicia Keys, Tamar Braxton and Elle Varner compete for Best Female R&B/Pop Artist.
The male R&B/Pop category includes nominees Chris Brown, Usher, Justin Timberlake, Bruno Mars, and Miguel.
Stars nominated in the acting categories include Kerry Washington, Taraji P. Henson, Halle Berry, Gabrielle Union and Angela Bassett for the women; while Samuel L. Jackson, Denzel Washington, Jamie Foxx, Common and Don Cheadle represent the men.
